Turbocharging M54 for cheap?

Hey guys,

I am planning on turbocharging my M54 but i have a budget constraint of 600~700$ max. It would be really helpful if you could help me out with any information about cheap bolt on turbo kits which has worked well for you or your friend without any issues. Any build threads which you would want me to go through?

Thanks for your help.

Regards,
Shashank

Hello,

honestly, there is no chance to get a perfect running kit for that price

Im really cheap and at a first glance im currently dealing with ~2000$ and thats without software.

IF youre really into it and have enough knowledge on engine mechanics and electronics:

Jeez, I can't even spray Nitrous safely at that price....

Forced Induction costs more than 600 - $700; Unless You're Using A Leaf Blower.

No, it ends up costing more than just buying complete set (like Technique Turbo).

That's great price. Now add 6000 for engine management/tuning and making the kit actually fit.

A DECENT turbo itself cost more than that....

No tuning currently for a home brew ebay kit.. and not likely to be... for a good reason...
