Just a small update. Got a chance to make some custom 3-1 collectors today. I used 304 stainless 1 1/4 schedule 40 tubing which has seen over 1000hp on 6 cylinder applications. I ordered v band flanges which should be here early next week. I will keep you guys updated.

turbo

Is that turbo a dual ball bearing or a journal?

I'm pretty good and cramming turbo's where they don't belong but you do realize you need to fit a downpipe right? The furthest back you can drop a downpipe, and a 3" one at that, is at the back of the shock tower. Hopefully you don't plan on cutting out the frame rail? To fit any of those turbo's up top and even attempt at fitting a downpipe properly the inlet of the turbo has got to be crammed right up behind the headlight, not near where you have those turbo's positioned. And that wide angle collector is fitting where, I would assume you're going for a similar design to my Z4M manifold? In to see where you get with this ...

^You can tell from the color that it is a pre 03.

Steel grey was replaced with silver grey in 04

pilot1ner: Journal bearing turbo.

A4RingedONE8T: Not a ton of room in the engine bay, but there's enough so as it comes together you will see how it turns out! Couldn't tell you if it's like your manifold never seen any of your stuff before.

Anything can be made to fit

Custom the oilpan/gearshifter/intake and have a 0degree engine and you'll have lots of room for a 76mm on the exhaust side

If you have the will and the cash to do it nothing is impossible

Finally found some time to work on this. I've lost alot of sleep trying to figure out the right configuration to make all these pipes fit. The 2.25" v band flanges came in but now I am thinking they might be too big for the opening of the T4. I'm going to back them down to 2". Back to waiting on parts . Here is a pic of the rear manifold, enjoy!!
