2000 323ci no fuel pressure?

Hi, I have the opportunity to purchase a 323ci 2000 model for CHEAP! However the current owner states there is no fuel pressure to the rails, but says he has replaced fuel pump. Any ideas as to what it could be? Worth the money?

Fuel filter, fuel pump fuse or even Captain's e-Box fuse.

If you can buy it on the cheap, go for it.

Ok talked to the guy a little more he said he thinks its electrical, bc it's throwing 02 sensor code and a CPS code even though he replaced the CPS.. I know electrical issues are expensive but he's only asking 2k..

First thing you should do is check the Captain's e-Box fuses.

If a Captain's e-Box fuse is blown, it can give you the CPS, etc codes as well.

Tell him you will buy it and we will fix it.

The 323 has a separate fuel pressure regulator...... could be that
Could also be the 3/2 Way valve.

01 3/2 directional control valve 1 13311438795 $221.68
03 PRESSURE REGULATOR 3,5BAR/PIERBURG 1 13531729319 $75.10
