So went in today to redeem my $35 coupon for new customer oil change, and they told me I was due for inspection 1. They charged me $188 for the inspection 1, now to me I think I should have just got oil change. Say my oil change is normally $160 and the inspection is normally $225 (what he told me), the difference there is $65. So shouldn't I have paid just $65+$35=$100 for the inspection?

Is it a coupon for a $35 oil change or $35 off an oil change?

Either way, it was money well spent at the best shop around.

No, it would be $225 plus $35 = $260

Save yourself some bucks next time and do it yourself. Once she starts burning/leaking which she may not do since she is a 323, you'll detest anyone else's price on an oil change other than your own.

Inspection = $225
Oil Change = $83
Oil Change Discount = $83-$35 = $48
Your Price = $225 -$48 = $177*(1.0625%)= $188

Alright makes sense. See I was just going off that the oil change was $160 (what it says on their video on their page) which is where I was getting a difference of roughly $80
