Bosch or Beck/Arnley Remanufactured starter?
I am replacing my starter on a 2003 330i. Which is a better purchase, a Bosch or a Beck/Arnley remanufactured starter? Money is tight, and with a coupon code I should be able to get one of these for about $140 from Advance Auto.
Thanks for your help!!!! Jason |

I would pull one off a low mileage part-out car. The OEM starter seems to last forever.

OEM bosch. Do it right the first time especially with a part that is a pain in the ass to change.

Yeah. I just finished pulling it off.....After struggling with the bottom bolt (head of it stripped and had to get a bolt-grip socket) for 3 hrs.....Definitely a pain in the ass process!
So, Bosch it is. I gotta get it back by mid morning tomorrow. |
