Chicken Adobo Recipe
2lbs of boneless chicken thighs OR 3 lbs of bone in chicken thighs
1/2 head of garlic 3/4 cup soy sauce 3/4 cup vinegar 3 bay leaves 1 tbsp cracked black pepper 1 tbsp corn starch 1 1/2 cups of hot water 4-5 dried chilis (optional)

if boneless, quarter the thighs. bone in, cut them in half. crush and chop garlic

put everything in pot, bring to a boil and then turn heat down to medium and simmer until chicken is cooked. once cooked, add in cornstarch and stir until thickens

yea i did that with the pork adobo a few threads down, came out great. I was feeling particularly lazy yesterday and didnt do it that way with the chicken lol
