E46 ms43 ecu supercharged Help!!!

Hi everyone

I installed a rotrex supercharger onto my m54b30 e46 months ago!

I have had nothing but problems trying to tune it on the dyno! I have all the facilities to do it but my friend who's tuning it doesn't seem to be having much luck.

So far it's made 292hp but some thing keeps sending the fueling mental. It keeps going lean for no reason as though there is a torque map we don't no about.

My knowledge of ecus mapping ect is very limited! But obviously my friends is very good! But it's really baffled him!

I was wondering if someone maybe able to help is out. As om getting to the point I'm going to get rid of the car because it's causing all types of problems at home ect with late nights ect

The car has the following specs

M54b30 engine
Ms43 ecu being tuned with tuner pro
Rotrex c3094
8psi
570cc injectors

Any help would be really appreciated

Thank you scott

Need a resistor for the MAF at least. Ideally use a PMAS MAF.

Why do you need a resistor?

The maf seems fine, no where near its limit?

If I sent someone my file could someone look over it for me?

I spoke to the lad mapping it, he said he thinks he nos what doing it, a torque limiter that is a fuel cut but when he try to do what ever he needs to the car won't start after flashing it.

Is that really how you do it when flash tuning? The MAF can't see air pressure, only flow. What is used to measure pressure for ignition timing under boost?

i wish i knew. but stock b30 maf reads up to 1000kg/h air. if i remember correct b30 engine uses around 600kg/h.
three friends of mine running stock maf on their supercharged engines but paid a professional tuner.

The DME uses the calculated load(mg of air in cylinder) to get the ignition correct. You also need to update the checksum before flashing, that could be the problem with the no start.

You only need to tune the last row in the fuel and ignition maps after changing it to a higher load value, like 1200mg/stroke.

The previous load points will only be hit when NOT under boost. When under boost, the load will be above 600mg/stroke i.e above 100%.

There is a person here running 20psi TS3+ with the stock MAF, it just maxes out at 4800 rpm.

Its has the virginalised file of here that I think gets rid of the checksum? Or calculates it's self?

Be good if someone experienced could take a look and see what they think, it could be something really simple that has been over looked ?

Some MAF specific changes you can only flash with a checksum corrected 512kb file. Also when EWS is deleted, why? I don't know...
