My Ride: 2004 325ci
Unhappy with YeaBMW

Purchased 19" wheels from this guy... Was going back and forth between fitments for my 325ci. VMR said to use a different offset, but then this guy said the offset of his wheels would fit perfect. I asked for a guarantee on the fitment with no rubbing issues.

This is a direct quote:
Hi, The 33 offset is perfect offset for rear especially since u have a coupe it has a bigger wheelbase clearance. I recomend 235 35 19 tires in front and either a 265 30 19 or 255 35 19 in rear. VMR sponsors can't recomend lower offset since they have to stay conservative offsets on there wheel sales. I can send you a paypal invoice if interested. Thanks - Ed
I've owned quite a few E46 non M's and the coupe has a bigger wheelbase clearance. With 235 35 19 fronts and 255 35 19 rears you will not rub at all bumps, dips etc.. You can even run a 265 30 19 tire in coupe rear. You're not being a pain, you have legit concerns. However, I have knowledge and experience when it comes to BMW.
After installing, I had major rubbing issues. Instead of trying to send them back, I said I'd go ahead and get them rolled.

After having them rolled and pulled, they still rub. I brought this up to him, he apologized and offered credit with oem parts. All I originally asked for was $50, which was to cover half the cost of rolling. Instead he only is offering oem parts credit from his "store"

I sent him an email recently to uphold his guarantee and I want these wheels shipped back, but now he doesn't respond but still updates his FS thread.

Yeah, I tried doing my own research, but when someone who supposedly sells these wheels like a vendor, claims to know it better than VMR, I went ahead and tried to trust them. Not happy at all with this as now I am stuck with them
