Doesn't mean he should 'slap' it on his car, so to speak. Just seems like the OP is on the diving board, just doesn't know how deep the pool is.

Well said. Like I said, I came across this thing for free; I don't know where to begin, let alone, start it and not be able to finish it. I'll hold onto it for the time being, do some research, and if I have enough time, if not, this thing is up in the air for sale or whoever is local, can swing by and help me out.

wait... so a guy gives it to you to put in your car for free, and now you're thinking of selling it? boooooooooooo! I understand the desire for money, but at least pass the good deed on. Maybe hook somebody up that has the parts/knowledge/desire for a turbo build, but is lacking the turbo.

My Ride: things that go fast.
that turbo isnt going to be spectacular on your car, and its not very easy to just "slap it on" BTW

I'm not worried about money. Like I said, I don't have the time for it right now; when time frees up I'll see if I can work something out.

If someone is local and looking to satisfy their build, we can work something out.

I never said it was going to be. And yes, it won't be easy to just "slap it on"

^Not to mention lots of possible down time too, so try to have a second set of wheels.

Shaft play is side to side or in and out movement seen when you physically move the turbine shaft, easiest done from the cold side of the turbo. In and out is worse than side to side, but visually you can see if there is any marring in the housing.

^ If he doesn't know what shaft play is, I doubt it. Everyone has to learn sometime though, just better off to start a first turbo build with a OBD1 B-series honda first haha

Jesus Christ relax guys. I have other priorities besides my car (work, our new house, etc.); sorry I'm not like you guys

I know bits and pieces but not to the extent that you all do. I always wanted to learn more, and now I am/will
