Recommend me some H7 halogen bulbs.

So currently my light output is so low that I can barely see my surroundings. I tried adjusting them using the knob on the headlight, but its still pretty dim. Does anyone know of some halogen bulbs that give out a pretty high output without having to buy HID's?

Maybe Philips X-treme Vision or Osram Night Breaker Plus? Powerbulbs.com carry those.

Hmm. That knob is supposed to adjust the brightness of the headlights. That should have worked. Keep turning it and let us know what happens.

Lol what I meant is that before, my lights were pointed low at the ground, so I adjusted the height so that it'd be a bit higher.

Are the predator xenon ion bulbs any good?

Thats an expensive statement you are making there buddy. I just need a good pair of h7s that aren't like $50

My Ride: cars older than you
good pair (almost HID) and not expensive don't make sense. Either spend the money or just deal with lowered output. FYI - high output on a halogen results in a shorter lifespan so you will need to change them sooner

Would I have to buy an HID conversion kit if I bought these?

No you don't need a kit, those are just H7 bulbs. But those are way too blue, you'd be losing clarity. Just get silverstar ultras, they're excellent. I also just put in some predator xenix ions from umnitza and they're awesome too. Probably the best bulbs you can get for halogen visibility

Eh my friend had a pair of silverstars he bought, said that they're beginning to looks pretty dim after 5 months. In broad daylight, do the blue lamps from the predators look sort of tacky when inside in headlamp? And also, do you have a picture showing the visibility of the predators? Or just compare them to my current ones:

^omg man, my fogs reach farther than that, haha definitely time for new bulbs.
I had the silverstars in for over a year and they never got dull, I just felt like replacing them.
The predators aren't even blue, the picture on the website isn't them, they're just a regular clear so no tacky blue bulb. Plus they're way cheaper than silverstars and are basically the same thing.
The cut-off I had with both bulbs would put it up at or just past that street light on the left.

Did you adjust your headlights at all? They are pointing down too much.

There's a weird little cog shaped thing on top of the headlights near where you insert low beam bulbs, you simply turn in to adjust the beam level. Silverstars you can get from autozone/ pep boys/ o'reillys etc. Predators you can order from umnitza's lighting section

Two black knobs above the headlight (looks like a gear). I don't know about the bulbs.

OMG.

Search on how to adjust the HL.

Silverstars are sold at all local car parts stores.

Predators are just Angel Eyes.....
