Is it just me or does this seem as common thing for Wealthier E46 owners?

I would not call it wealthy. It is about how driven you are and how bad you want your goals. All the owners I know work in fields from retail to medical. So wide range of professions.

We did north HWY 1 in the outback cause when we went it was the extra rainy time. I am glad we did as we had to wade through 1.5 feet of water in one area and cross a muddy ditch twice as a tree fell across the 101 freeway near the avenue of the giants. Though the area from Fort Brag to the end of HW 1 is AMAZING fun. Also we had to take a side road going up called Bischcomb road. 23 miles of fun.

Differential kit. Found all the parts needed to change out to 3.91 gears. There is no kit on the market so a few of us figured out all the parts needed. Once you have the parts any diff shop can do the change.
