RIP My Love...You Will Be Missed

Hello guys and gals. It's been along time since I've been on the forums and honestly its because I couldn't bring myself around to it after the wreck. Then I kind of lost track. It's now been 8 months to the day since I lost my baby and I think about her everyday.

Haloween weekend, last year, I was on my way home from a friends house. About 11:30 at night sitting at a stop light behind a Honda Accord. Car in neutral, clutch out, no brake. Suddenly I hear tires for a split second and the next thing I know my face is eating airbag. I was hit my an "old white panel van" according to the witness, who happened to be an off duty cop. By the time, I was able to get out my car, the van was already gone; left the scene. No one saw where they went or got a plate number.

Total estimated repair cost: $24k
Car value by ins co: $16.9
Total Loss?: Me no good at math but YES

Lucikly I was able to get most of my mods, that weren't ruined at least, off the car before it went to Bimmer heaven. So I will be creating a thread(s) for all my stuff that needs to go. Held on to it got too long now.

My farewell pics in post 8: http://forum.e46fanatics.com/showpos...33&postcount=8

This is the aftermath of that night:

Poor little angel eye. All in tack but no headlight to be found.

Damn that sucks, this is why I leave a car length in front of me and stay out of the middle lane when at a light and watch the rear view like a hawk so I can GTFO if I see a dumbass barreling towards us. Sorry for your loss

Im sorry for your loss, i also was in a H & R accident so i sort of feel your pain. From the looks of the pictures im glad your OK. Any ideas for whats next? I really hope the insurance didnt rob you that would be a shame... But it happens often.

holy crap. Glad to hear you're okay after a hit like. And don't worry, karma will get the guy that hit you.

Btw, those V2's are insane that they didn't break after that!!!

Jesus Christ on a pogo stick. I don't know how you don't rage at the thought of this car being taken from you. So god damn clean.

Lol, that insurance check is long gone. I bought an 07 Civic 2dr EX 5mt cash. I do miss my car, but no car payment is nice too. $469.10 a month to $0; can't beat that with a stick.

Damn man I hate that for you... what a beautiful car. I can completely understand though, I lost my Cadillac to a wreck 3 months ago and there isn't a day that goes by that I don't think about it. The good thing is that you're ok.

Wow that was a clean e46, sorry for the loss. Based on reading the story it sounded like you were hit from behind. then I saw the pics.

Quite a bit a stuff. Just to name a few, NIB OEM BMW Performance CF splitters, OEM M3 mirrors with OEM Euro aspherical glass, OEM M3 auto dim rearview mirror, AA strut bar, Benfer Performance CF CIA with custom made AFE Pro Dry S filter and a custom Xenon wiring harness I built for facelift coupe, FiberDesigns CF diffuser with dual cutouts (quad set up), stock zhp exhaust (full thing minus manifolds), Dice silverline with Spec.dock.

Well that's more than a few but there is more. Just can't remember everything of the top of my head.

Can you do me a favor and remove the img tags from your quote of the OP?
