Bumper Restore

Hi, Im new to BMW and this site and I was wondering if there was any way to restore the plastic trim on the rear bumper of my 325Ci. It has faded away to a very light grey and does not look too great. Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

Did you post the pic upside down just to annoy iphone users? Anyway. I use auto glym bumper gel or sometimes the meguiars stuff. But there will be no permanant solution i dont think. The plastic were my windscreen wipers are has gone grey and i cant get it to go black

Remove the trim and spray with plastidip to get a black look back that will never fade. If you'd rather not risk breaking the clips during removal, you can always mask off the body paint with blue painters tape and spray the trim directly on the car.

Clean it then wipe it with leather conditioner. It will bring back the shine.
I don't use back to black but heard its good too.

Sorry, I didn't realize it had posted upside-down. I kinda guessed that I wouldn't be able to get it back to the original color, but I was hoping for a more permanent fix than back to black

How expensive is plastidip?

It's about $6 at HomeDepot. They only carry black but you can get different colors online.

Also, wiping it with any conditioner is temporary and will eventually fade with the rain. Back to black is good but plastidip is the best route.

Best of all, and easiest of all, Go to Wal-Mart, go to the car section, in the air freshner/ car wash/ tire shine area, you can find something made my Turtle Wax, called TRIM RESTORE. That **** works. that **** works so good, like, when I got my car, the trim was practically white all around. I applied it once, lasted for 3 weeks, second application, lasted a month, after the third, I don't need to apply any more. It's been lasting great this whole time, also, the car sits OUTSIDE. I have the same bumper, and hated seeing the reflectors, so I covered the whole grey area with carbon fiber vinyl. About 3 dollars worth of material to do it, you might have to overlap, as the grey is about 70-75 inches long
