My Ride: '99 Techno Violet M3
The BMW 1 series M Coupe equipped with a 6MT and an M-Tuned version of the N54 found in the 335i will beat an e46 M3. I think this is owed largely to the 1 series being lighter (if I'm not mistaken) than the 335i and the M-tuned version of the 1 series M coupe putting out 340 hp & 332 tq, with an addition 37 ft-lb of torque available for 7 seconds at WOT (369 ft-lb).

The 335i being heavier, an auto and lacking the M-tuned N54 would most certainly lose. At least according to my line of reasoning. I really don't have much experience to draw off of here though.

no mods for both of us, the funny thing is i didn't even use launch control. just activated sport mode haha. either way it was close until i reached high speeds then it became impossible for him to catch up
