I've heard a similar thing was going on in Poland in the early 90s. They were importing two wrecked cars of the same model from Germany, one rear ended, the other with front damage. After cutting and splicing they ended up with one "like new", "low miles", "never been in accident" car for sale and a bunch of spare parts.
I can see how this can work as a business model to provide cheap used cars, but are you paying to have this done because you want a quad exhaust???

Not planning to ever selling her. I had got into an accident on my passenger side rear quarter and wanted to go with M fenders with M bumper. Them I ran into to the problem of which exhaust to run. The money that I got for the accident I went for an upgrade. Might aswell. Now I'm gonna pull the rear quarter panels and run 12s with freedom to run more legit exhaust setups.

So instead of simply putting a different trunk floor pan in and new quarter-panels, you decided to hack up the entire car? Talk about unnecessary work...

Seems unnecessary but I got a great deal from my shop for the whole job and couldn't say no.

Alright, this makes sense then. I was under the impression from your previous post that you cut a perfectly straight body just to replace the rear section with a wider one. Good luck with this project. It will take some skills to make the car straight again.

Yeah and I'm sure I could get a great deal on a whole new house but doesn't mean it's cheaper than remodeling mine...
