Help me decide on wheel specs

hi guys.. a new owner of an E46 M3 here.. wanted to replace my oem 19" with Beyern Rapps linked below

http://www.modbargains.com/Beyern-Rapp-Wheels-BMW.htm

would like to keep my current set up of front 255 and rear 275 tyres, wanna decide on the offset and other specs of those like bore, lip size.. etc. i guess specs of 19x8.5 et40 fronts and 19x9.5 et15 rears are fine. please advise.

regards

The front will definitely fit, the rear will be quite aggressive as far as I know. Contact modbargains directly, they are very helpful with this type of thing and would have recommendations for you.

If you are looking to run a 19" staggered fitment, then I would recommend a 19x8.5 ET35 front with a 245/35/19 tire and a 19x9.5 ET22 rear with a 275/30/19 tire. On stock suspension, I can guarantee you would not have any rubbing issues. You also have the option to go a bit wider in the rear, like a 19x10 ET25

correction: i just found out my front tyres are 245's .. dunno why i thought they were 255's all along.

Thanks Freddie for the input, yes i would like a staggered setup.. wider rears.. would you know what the other specs might be?
lip sizes are 2" front and 3" back.. does that sound correct?

what is bore size? does it even matter which i choose for the E46 M3?

thanks everyone for the input.. appreciated

Those sizes and offsets will be fine. Front lip size is 1.5" and rear is 3" I believe. Bore would be 72.56 like all non-e39/e70 fitments. I think front tire size is 245, rear is 275. Front 255 would work but I think is a hair taller than the 275.

Are those the answers you needed?

Sorry, guess I should have read whole thread first...

Bore size does matter, but a reputable place like modbargains or any other sponsor here wouldn't need to be told that when you order, they'll know.

Front lip is 1.5", not 2".
