In N Out

smashburger!! you haven't had good fries until you've had smash fries!

i think five guys is well worth the extra couple bucks and it's better than any other fast food burger chain.

it is but when i spend 13 bucks for a burger coke and frys i always tell myself i could have had a number 1 for half the price which taste as good maybe not better but as good fur sure

5 Guy's fries are fantastic... the burger.. not impressed. Just a fried burger like I got at home 20 years ago. Now "Brothers Burgers" are pretty good.

In & Out good bang for the buck.. for fast food!

I think 5 guys and McDonalds are 2 different things. I'm willing to pay a little more for a good burger

The ONE time I had In N Out in LA, I got Animal style double with cheese with everything. I was coached by a guy born & raised in LA though. Sh*t is SOOOO good.

4x4 animal style, animal style fries, chocolate shake.
In n out is so much better than all the other stale fast food places like McDonalds, bk, Carl's...
5 guys is pretty good too in its own way. You can eat it 45 mins later and the burger will still taste just as good as fresh IMO.

Burger Lounge and In N Out are in two totallyyyy different levels IMO. Like comparing Outback to Flemings. That being said, I haven't had something beat the Flemings Happy Hour burger in awhile. Happy hour is from like 12-6 too. It's their Prime burger for only like $6.50!!! Brioche bun and amazing fries. Just a small tip if any of you didn't know about that deal . Ruth's Chris does something similar, but in a smaller time window.

Anyway's, at In N Out its normally a double single w/ grilled onions protein style, a hamburger with grilled onions and fries.

1 or 2 double doubles, always with grilled onions and always 2 animal style fries.

I have a very fast metabolism, always been used to eating a large amount of food.

usually get two double double or one 4x4
i haven't tried ordering more than a 4x4
the grill needs to be bigger to accomodate a bigger order

i havent been in a while, but i dont ever remember spending 13 bucks on a burger at 5 guys. i feel like a meal there (fries, burger, drink) costs closer to 9 or 10 bucks.

I just found out they put a Smashburger out in the county here in St. Louis.......once I don't have strep I'll have to go check it out because it looks amazing

I lived in CA for 29 years and went to college near an In n Out and I'm not sure I'd eat there again. The food has a distinct In n Out smell - kinda like big mac farts.

As of 12 years ago, when I last lived in LA, Fatburger was much better than In n Out.

Actually, you know what's better? The happy hour 1/2 lb burger at McCormick & Schmick's - only $2 - $4 depending on location INCLUDING FRIES . Great burger, unbelievable price and you get to eat in a halfway decent restaurant. 12 locations in CA. http://www.mccormickandschmicks.com/locationmap.aspx

not positive but pretty sure its about 7 bucks for a double bacon cheeseburger or whatever which is equivalent to the double double at in n out. drinks likes 3 bucks and fries is 3 bucks with no meal option .

even a damm cheeseburger is like 5 buckle
