Check to make sure your belts did not shear and come off. Can't really call while I'm at work...I can give you a call at 5 once I'm done. BTW I'm from Seattle also.

after red battery light came on, did the other stuff shut down one by one? my best guess alternator is gone. same thing happen to me. if you live close by, just buy a new battery and drive home.

check your voltage with the onboard computer. it will tell you if its the alternator or not.
so a fully charge battery will not start your car? then its probably not the alternator then. |

So the car is cranking but won't start?
Check the e-box fuses...see if FP is priming...search 'crank no start' threads using advanced/title search. Also, I'd google KC auto shop and see what feedback it has gotten. Although 5 hours might be a reasonable time not to find your problem, it doesn't sound that reasonable. Ask him to check all connections--grounds, starter cable, battery connections--though you shouldn't have to ask him to do that. GL...hth a little...and a morning bump for you!

And before I left they told me the ECU problem , they have to replace the new one ,because Its showing nothing on their computer when they plug in.
