My stage 2 made like 540 or something on pump/meth (stock exhaust/closed dump)...I think your 580 is good

Dreikraft, I was aggressive at 10psi on pump/Low Boost and 15psi/High Boost on stock internals yes. I expected to gain 50-80 rwhp over my previous PT67 turbo.
- new pt 6766
- open dump waste gate
- aggressive tune (+3-5lbs of boost)
Should yield just under 100rwhp over my previous set up no?

i dunno but the stock compression high boost is my favorite.
if you could safely boost to 18psi i think it'd be more fun than a stage2.5@23psi with the old 6776

I personally wouldn't want more than 700 reliably on a stock motor...I would say 650 race and meth would give a small safety factor acceptable for your setup.

Also look at your nice torque curve with pump/meth...looks like 450 across the whole range Remember too that the new 67 has only really shown an improvement for the top end of the built motor builds as previous 67 couldn't put out at the higher rpms.

582rwhp sounds pretty good....I think I hit around 545rwhp on Pump and Meth with the PT67

Did that thing just make peak torque at over 7000 rpms? Sure looks like it from the vid, that torque curve is incredible, keeps climbing. Just FYI Rico, if your car could turn more rpm's it would be making well into the 600's at that boost level with the way that torque is holding. The stock s54 doesn't even seem to make the new 6766 break a sweat.

p.s. Open dump doesn't sound much louder on the vid, maybe more in person? It'd be nice to wake the dead once hitting full boost like my rx7 lol.

Hey Rico, congrats! Car looks like it's gonna be a beast. You wont even recognize it compared to what it was before when we were driving it up and down. High boost is really a different beast. I hope you will enjoy the new setup and will get us some vids with that cam system you're planning to buy.
When will you get it back??

wassup Dragos, Thank You!

the car gets picked up next week if everything goes as planned.

I have lots of plans in the two weeks i will be home but yes, i will video record. maybe not with the smarty Cam but with my iphone 4s and the Optrix HD Video app which should still do similar AND MY GoPro HD

You remember what my Sound system Felt like right?

well i have changes planned to shave 11lbs on the SUB and 41 lbs between enclosures

JBL W12GTi > JL 10W7

JL A1800 & A6450 > Audison LRX 5.1K

Location change for Amps as well. Both current JL Audio AMPs were on a MDF Board in the center of the trunk floor above where the spare used to Live.

Now my One Audison amp will sit upside down under the Rear Deck

that Huge JBL sat in a custom enclosure in the center / Rear of the Trunk. the new sub is 11lbs less weight and its new home will be above the battery in a corner enclosure

Can't wait!

Kirk just confirmed that that 582 was at normal boost so with an extra pound or two should be in the 600s on pump & meth

Are you sure that's what you want to use for high speed motorsports? The quality is great unless you need stabilizer. This in car vid made me sick.
Waay to jittery.
There are many good choices out there that wont break the bank. The Go Pro does not have an optic stabilizer but it does have an action FPS choice.

I spent a few bux and got an unbelievable Panasonic with optical stabilizer and 1080p for about 350...refurbished. $500 brand new. It was worth every cent.
There are decent choices for as low as 130usd.

Sorry. I just can see using a phone to video our world class machines. It does not do them justice.
This is the quality I saw from the 3GS I Phone

lol, I feel you Dave but the camera in the iPhone 3gs can not compare to the camera in the new iphone 4s.

the 4s records in HD / 1080p coupled with apps that arguably make it comparable to a racelogic vbox!

4s = pretty awesome.

but even though I'm considering the AIM Smarty CAM Im not sure if i can swing it at this time.

This is from an iPhone4 with a RAM mount using Harry's Lap Timer. Quality seems fine to me. Harry's has a anti-shake thing you have use when you process the video but I don't bother.

The only problem is the suction mount. I just figured out how to position it so the suction cup is not in the picture...its like a puzzle!
