Plasti-Dipping Entire Cars : Various Colors

I'd never do it to my own, but this 335 is just plasti dipped.. they now offer various colors and people are doing this in their garage by hand. Pretty crazy that people are changing up the color of their cars in the time it takes to properly detail.

Its like Grand Theft Auto has come to life. Pop in the garage, spray spray spray, cops no longer on your tail.

My Ride: Is in a salvage yard
I'm considering doing my wheels just because I want to see what black rims on my black coupe look like. I would NEVER do my entire car though...for a daily driver that can't last more than a week.

My Ride: Nothing as of yet.
I reallyyy want to see someone with this in person. Pictures can make it look real good, but I wonder how it looks in real life.

So that's where Dominic G has been, he upgraded to an e90

Have there been any additional results threads showing wear to the paint after leaving the product on for longer duration? I have done emblems and the like and know it peels off easily at first. Saw the thread where the guy removed it w/ a pressure washer, he was just a fool.

Looks like they do a (free?) glossifier for the whole car. It looks as if all the car examples on the website haven't got the gloss treatment... Hmmmm. Dying to see pics of the gloss.

Exactly. This is the automotive equivalent of "sweeping it under the rug". Cheap, and with good reason. Just clean the damn car, people.

4 Layers of this shit couldn't even withstand a week on my center console.. let alone an entire car.

Thank god the place I purchased it from let me return a half-used can.
I believe the $19/can price up here is ment to deter anyone from ever making the mistake of purchasing this product.

If you are going to go through with doing the whole car they should also provide an additional gun to shoot yourself with.

Quick general question. If you do this, do you have to change the color in your car registration too? Just wondering.
