E46 interior color codes

I have a 2002 325 xi Touring. I can find the tag on the front strut housing for the exterior color, but for the life of me cannot find anywhere on the car a tag or a code for the interior color. I did read that their might be a build sheet underneath the rear seat, but my car doesn't have that.

Any help on how to find the "correct" interior color would really be appreciated. It is a light beige leather, but that won't get me far.

Thanks,

Terry Watson

Go here http://www.rubmw.ru/vincode/eng/ and type in the last 7 of your vin. It'll give all your options including upholstery code.

That is a great resource. Hopefully it is an faq or sticky someplace.

It would be great if BMW did this, and at the same time revealed all dealer related services performed, recalls, inspections, etc on that vehicle. A guy can dream - right?

You rock...

Just stumbled on this myself and realised I too have hellbeige (great name) however on hat site it lists sheds of other useful stuff and one thing it says is

S380A HARDTOP-VORBEREITUNG Hardtop-preparation

Does this mean it has a fitting kit installed???

Thanks again, great find... )

I tried that site and bmwarchiv.de and both sites come back with no results for my vin. The only site that works is realoem. Is there any other way to find interior color code?
