i think you hit a unique situation. totally agree with you that ordering a coffee black be it iced or not, should not be confusing.

maybe it was a teenager that doesn't drink coffee? (still doesn't make it OK, but could explain all the confusion).

It was 3 different people that looked at me as if I had a d1ck growing out of my forehead, lol. Various age ranges ,too. I figured it was just a fluke, but wasn't sure.

i guess you're the anomaly for them, ordering your 'plain' coffee must be rare at that store, lol.

Depends on the volume of the store and day of week .. For example a Friday at a busy store we will do anywhere between 8500 - 10k some stores that are open 24hr will be in the 11 12 or 13 range

Do you guys ever throw in any extras if the person is a regular or really nice to you? Extra nugget, more fries etc..

Seems like most of the time I'll get extras and I can't tell if it's because the people behind the counter can't count, or if they're doing it on purpose?

mcdoanlds training is the best. its all usually really easy stuff and ingredients we already have just in a different combination
