Any remarks on longevity with these? I am interested as my stock shocks are blown at 82k miles. But I want to know how well these hold up before I go ahead with them. 50k miles? 80k miles? ??

Instead of guessing at these, why not buy the ST's made by KW?
Sub $800 final price because of rebate and 10% off, from the "The Suspension Source". Rebate ends at the end of this month.

True I could do that. All I really need is new shocks, I can do that for $350. So for another $150 I could lower the car a bit with the Street Edge. If I go ST I am up around $800 which is a bit of a jump from $350. I will likely just stick with the shocks and spend the money on refreshing suspension components in the front rather than lowering the car.

I'll vouch for these again.. its been four months and i'm still very happy on my daily driver and commute.. it rides great for a coilover (way better than Tein's, D2's) and handling is much improved. Not saying you wont see a little bounce here and there but its not bone jarring when you hit pot holes or uneven surfaces. Also take in consideration your roads.. mine for the most part are in good to great shape... bad roads I wouldnt want any coilover.

Thanks for that comment. Our roads are not good around here. And this is my wife's daily driver, she won't be happy with a stiff or bouncy ride. So perhaps coilovers are the wrong way to go for me.

My "wife" really likes the way the car handles and she says its very tolerable.. even on long trips and she DD's our escalade. Again I think for under 1k coilover wise you wont see anything that will ride much better if at all.

To achieve the look and ride and not spend a lot of money I'd definitely buy them again.. but yes take in consideration how bad your roads are to work and back =)

*Street Edge Coilovers Review *

Bump! Thinking about getting these, great price and the adjustability is nice, since I'm gonna be entering the local spocom event in August. Just a quick question, at maximum ride height how much of a difference is it compared to the stock sport suspension? This is gonna be my daily driver, so I don't want it too low.

They definitely ride like coilovers but they arent going to jar you around or cause your windshield to crack when you hit a pot hole. I did like steve and put the collars all the way down so I cant tell you how they ride at max height. At the lowest I still feel they are 100% acceptable.

I do not think you can put on mileage on any suspension. Driving habits, road conditions, wear & tear and other factors need to be considered. I have KWs on my E60, we have decent roads here and I hardly drive the car "hard" and my coilovers are performing just like they did out of the box. I have 25k+ on the kit.

Well the way I drive is pretty carefully now, I try to dodge potholes and uneven surfaces. Oh another important question, so every time I adjust my ride height, I have to fix my alignment?

It is recommended that you do but if it is just a small amount you should be fine. I recommend purchasing the unlimited alignment plan. I know http://discounttirecenters.com/ offers it. I know some Firestone locations do as well. I have this for my E60. Much better to pay $180 once than $100 a pop.

interested in these coils. can someone post 17in wheels with the coils as low as it will go?

I have a feeling, judging from the pictures, that these coils wont slam my car??
