Hey everyone. I'm planning on ordering these tonight and I was wondering if I would need spacers or my fenders rolled. I have style 67s 18x9 square set up. Any help would be great!

Looks good. Are you running spacers with the pictured wheels? If so, what width? I assume you're using 225/45's on those wheels.

Thanks,

Hello Kris,
My kit was delivered yesterday. I look forward to installing it. One thing I noticed is that the new design are pictured with the helper spring on bottom but it seems that the original version was supposed to be installed with the helpers on top. Am I wrong? My kit was delivered with the helpers on the bottom (just like your pictures).

Thanks,
Dietrich

Do you have any updated pics? And did you have to need spacers?

I was reading a couple pages back that these go about as low as lowering springs. Here is my car on 19s now. Do you think it will go lower than this? I really hope so because I already ordered a set. Yes I know its not a e46, but I couldnt find any e39 threads with people using Street Edge coilovers.

The E39 application is just over a month old for us. Fortunately the E39 community has been very excited about Street Edge. You should see a few threads pop up soon on the net.

I'm just hoping it goes lower than the H&R sports I have on it now.

Not really familiar with the H & R springs for the E39 but here are the specs for the E39 Street Edge coilovers

Lowering Range:

Front - 1.4"-2.6"

Rear - 1.4"-2.4"

*Street Edge Coilovers Review *

I'm pretty sure that low is good enough for most fanatics. I think if you wanna slam your car, look at race lands or broadways.

Oh btw haven't put the coils on yet, do I need a spacer with 40mm offset. I'm afraid if I do, I'll rub. Thanks Kris!

Had mine for roughly a year and a half, still loving them! No complaints at all. Currently have the fronts all the way down and rears around half the way down

Just installed my second set (different car) today! This is all the way down in the front and rear, not settled in yet. New front and rear upper mounts. No spacers as my wheels have a different offset than standard e46 fitment. Style 162s staggered.

Just a reference to see how low you can go. At this point it is to low to drive, especially the rear. I can barely squeeze a flathead driver between the fender and tire. I'm not interested in fender rolling. Fronts are fine. But to clear the rears better I'm going up at least a half inch. If measurements are correct I got a 2" drop all around, before settling. Measured from fender lip to ground.

So here's the final set up. 9 turns from full low in rear, 6 turns from full low in front. No rubbing in the back, yet. I haven't had passengers in the car and only being on for two days they haven't settled either.
