Anyone planning on watching this movie?

I feel like that is a lot of time in the gym to hit 3 muscle groups in one day, per day. In a sense I'm saying if you're to do all of these correctly, and blast each muscle group each day, you'd have to be there for at least 2 hours. Maybe for Mark since he's making a movie he has that kind of time, but I don't see that being an effective daily workout regimen. The typical lifter doesn't have enough energy to do 2+ hours a day per day of the same muscles with only 24 hours rest to make effective gains, there is no recovery time.

Edit: Minus the back day on the second rep of Day 1

Hollywood is juiced out of their minds. For anyone else...http://forum.e46fanatics.com/showthread.php?t=982930

My favorite part of that workout is it has a day where it indicates hitting biceps and the only thing is "barbell curls". Goes to show you how much the other things hit them and what a waste it is for most people to do 4 different exercises for the smallest muscle on your body.

wahlberg probably has a team that looks after his physique from dieticians to personal trainers. i never look at movie stars that are insanely fit and say i wish i looked like them because it really is impossibe with the lifestyle i have. i look pretty damn good except for a few pounds around my gut and i never followed any conventional work out routine. i basically made my own and it pretty much was the opposite of what everyone said to do and what was the 'right' way to work out.

what did they say to do.

It comes down to consistency. Lift things often, move a lot, eat decently, and sleep well and you'll be in better shape than 95% of americans.

Do you think? I see the day one taking no more than 1:15? The guys I see in there more than that are chatting and texting.

I don't give a **** about someone's workout routine....The real nuts and bolts are in compounds and diet.

when you can work out, and thats literally you job for a few months, i'm sure many of us could be in much better shape. throw in a few excellent trainers and a dietitian, many of us would be in very nice shape.

Lifting more weights. Not all of us do it just to look better. That's just a byproduct.
