good gawd....that moron that popped off about non-m vs. M3 trannys without any clue whatsoever is now proclaiming he can powerwash "everything" in his engine bay and that it won't do any damage.

You can technically power wash everything in your engine bay, it's just good practice to cover up the alternator and headlights. BMW sprays high power water jets at their electrical connections inside the engine bay for R&D

Detailers sometimes power wash the engine bay. They do it very judiciously, but the concept itself isn't completely out of the question.

The difference is that BMW isn't spraying at parts that have baked under a hood for __ years and are brittle enough to crumble if you look at them sideways.
