What a shame that even Muslims in Australia and France are acting like the monkeys from North Africa and the Middle East.

Interesting that our transmissions have similar ranges (3.02 vs 3.08) and fairly similar inter-gear differences.
You'd have a very nice set of ratios with the 3.46 diff, especially with the direct drive 5th gear.
Ready to take this bench racing to the next level?

Right now it's anti-creeper van status with the added bonus of passive safety because everybody can hear my car. People walking their dogs, people with their windows rolled up. The squeeking is unbearable.

Stock 1991 BMW 325is is getting 8.10s 0-60 and 16.09@88.14 1/4mile
Stock 1985 Mercedes-Benz 190E 2.3-16 is getting 7.33s 0-60 and 15.98@91.35 1/4mile
Kalim's E30 with an optimistic 50lbs, 7hp, 6lb-ft torqe, 6700rpm redline, and a 4.10 diff over stock is 7.45s 0-60 and 15.59@90.60 1/4 mile

Weird, that's an odd thing to pop. How'd you find out? Were you shifting while it happened?

Clutch started getting way too soft

drove it home, started pumping it to see, saw a few small drops appear

then the clutch stopped coming up

I thought the slave crapped out so I next-dayed it without lifting the car

Got under the car, saw the drip was coming from the clutch line above the slave

That's annoying. At least you didn't have a pressure plate failure like Kalim. Essentially was like doing 1.5 clutch jobs to even figure out what had failed.

Just a matter of changing out a hard to access line and no dealing with transmission to engine bolts, which are the worst.

BMW E30 325i seems to pull on Miles's 190E.

Taking the trans off a couple of times sucks.

The soft line is pretty darn easy to change in comparison.

So, about your sister Miles... She's about a size 2? Petite?

Good... Oh, good.

Your MAF conversion and disconnected sub in the trunk don't add 30hp and your 50 pounds over me won't go unnoticed.

I have no clue how to check pulley alignment without buying a $100 laser alignment checking tool. Because of that, I'm just going to bring the van in to Bay Area Auto.
