AutohausAZ usually is the cheapest for just about everything. No tax and free shipping, and essentially wholesale pricing. ECS Tuning does seem to sell stuff at wholesale pricing, but they make their money on shipping and handling. They also have great pictures on their sites and great customer service. I like supporting either of them.

GetBMWParts.com is also good for lots of OEM stuff, but shipping is always an unknown price, and customer service and product shipping can be slow.

Making it out of plastic is a great idea for cost and performance, if you design it like it's made out of plastic.

BMW for some reason likes to pretend plastic is just like metal and is very strong per volume and won't get brittle with age, heat, or weather.

After more research, I'm not sure if the Merkur Futur would make for a good first DE razor because of its weight.

I'm looking at the Merkur HD and the Gillette Super Speed. The HD is maybe $10-20 more, but is also new. They seem to be similar in size, design, weight, etc... The Super Speed has the folding mechanism while the HD has a screw in type (a matter of personal preference, I think...)

Thoughts?

I like the folding. It seemed fancy to me.

Nope. They are very complex and expensive to manufacture items and pricing and quality varies wildly.

I really want that car in a dark shade of blue. There is an SGCer that used a Ford blue on his E46 coupe that actually looks really, really good.

The HVAC systems in Hondas are their Achilles' heel for some reason. The 300TE didn't have A/C either, and if it weren't for the ride, it would have been completely unbearable.

I rarely roll the windows down, because I don't like smelling the surroundings, plus it lets in dust and lint into the car that I have to vacuum/brush away later.
