I was just saying in general Limited-limited editions don't make sense to me.

I would hope the Lotus handles better. There's less car to fling about.

why?

Limited editions make the most sense. People are willing to pay a premium for exclusivity and/or unavaliable options and packages. The customer base is there and willing to pay for it, so why not?

It makes sense to the people who buy it, and that's about it. I never really put much thought into it, I can't afford them anyway.

Limited editions are fine, but once you start making a variant for every day of the week, then you're just running out of ideas.

Let's not forget the variants the normal, non-limited 911 comes in already. That list will grow exponentially.

Also, that was in regards to cars in general, not just the 911.

4 body styles
4 engines (in the us)
2 drive layouts
xx levels of trim

They also cater to a much broader market. I don't think the 911 covers the same scope as a mainstream sedan.

Although the new "Lines" for the F30 are quite stupid. Why can't people just pick their options for themselves? Personally, I want an M-Sport F30/F31 in black with the bright window trim.
