wrong. I see lots of people buying the middle porsches. I was up in @ santa anita and saw an asian mom with two kids in the back of her 997 carrera gts vert

While that's true for any company, there's actually a pretty good demand for Porsches, especially cayenes for some reason

I'm still not quite sure what you're getting at. Yes, the company would still probably function if they only sold a single base carrera, and people would still buy it, but what would this accomplish other than less profits?
people would eventually strip it out and upgrade the engine and suspension, then you end up with a gt3... Albee is angry the factory does the modding for him

After seeing my dad daily drive his carrera, I don't think I could ever daily drive one. Too painful to watch it get dinged up, backed up into, rear ended, and so on.

True but they can and should be driven, in fact, it's not good when they're not driven. One of my friends bought Patrick Dempsy's 997.1 gt3rs that he used as a daily driver

I think they should be driven as well, not spending the day in either an open parking lot or stuck in SF traffic.

Albee definitely has too many choices...

Albee: I want an e36
me: ok, cool, what kind? Coupe, sedan, vert?
Albee: doesn't matter, I want an e36
me: oh... ok, what motor? m3?
albee: sure, doesn't matter to me, I want a boston green e36

Ahh, didn't know that. I knew some of the old american cars were like that, but didn't know of any other cars.

Higher voltage = better in every way and then some.

Yea, even starting a reliable car on 6 volts isn't the most inspiring of events
