Odd that it would even need fender flares and wider wheels on a car that is only like 2800 pounds and 280hp and can already fit 9" wide wheels. Tires will never even warm up at that rate.

I like the front fenders but the rear one's are

if they're gonna do opened fenders like that, they should look at the porsche RSR for inspiration or at least a M3 GTR

But the BMW M3 GTR and Porsche GT3 RGR don't have opened fenders. They have closed fenders with vents because that rear part of the fender normally just catches air.

Really, there's no point having anything to cover the rear of the wheels unless maybe you have a very important rear diffuser installation, which a production car isn't going to have. That flare just covers the top of the tire which is important for aero and road legality, as well as preventing mexiflush, and that's about it.

Just look at the rear of a Porsche 917K, a Le Mans car from before the time of diffusors. Very open rear tire wells.
