Technically yes, however the magazine has to be locked in. And the bullet button is lame

Prolly easier to just get an illegal AK from a gang banger

It's not horrible, but it's not great either. I think I'm ok with the average population not having fully automatic rifles with quickly swappable 50 round magazines.

The rules like no thumbhole grips and folding stocks because they make a rifle look too much like an assault rifle is just plain stupid.

Meh. While I am ok with some gun restrictions, the levels we have to go through are ridiculous. I am a gun enthusiast. I want to own more guns later in life, but CA tries their hardest to make sure people can't do that.

It sucks, but it's not horriable.

nub at the end of the magazine to use the next mag as your "tool"

tools that screw on for when you are "out of state"

or finger rings

part of the fun of building an ar in cali is looking up all the laws to make sure it's legal and you don't go to jail

They're all over. look on calguns. AR build parties can be done easily, but for the ak it's about a 2 day thing with welding, grinding, bending, fitting, etc. look up "80% lowers" for ar an ak's

I just got rain

New York and New Jersey both got pounded though, and they too have crappy gun laws.

Yes. But when the zombie apocalypse happens or SHTF nobody will care if your magazines are 20 rounds larger than what's "legal" or if your rifle has a bullet button or not

when the zombie apocalypse comes, people will die because of that stupid bullet button business

that's why you keep the pre-ban assault rifles at home and don't register them

sadly, until that day, it could prevent me from owning if I were to get cought. I've been approached by cops in the middle of the desert to inspect my rifles. thats why you buy 10/30's with blockoff plates and screw in bullet button adjustment tools. I could always just build a featureless A2 or somethething, but no pistol grip just looks sooo stupid
