Becareful

Noticed 2 e46 m3's at a certain "performance shop" located in Stamford, ct 1 was black and the other looked like topaz blue.. Just warning you that dude is seriously a shady character... Not sure if they are e46 fanatic members but I'm not bashing your choice of performance shop, just a friendly warning.. I never had anything done to my car there, but I used to hang out there and let me tell you I have seen enough shady **** go on there to never reccomend anyone to go there...

Ok... Hmm let's see on 1 account few years ago a guy came in with an evo and got a price to get some work done (not sure what) so they gave an quote of xxxx amount and then it took 3x the amount of time to do it, vehicle owner continuously called to get some answers and was ignored several times, so then vehicle owner came in on a random day to pick up his car and the shop owner said its gonna cost a rediculous amount more than the original quote he gave and the poor owner of the vehicle said that he couldn't pay for that and complained that it wasn't the original quote and pretty much the shop owner said I will not release the vehicle to you until I'm paid off... And sadly it was a verbal quote so it wasn't in writing... So miraculously some how while still on the shops premises the car was broken into, stripped of alot of ****, and I mean alot of ****... Was sitting on the floor, no suspension no wheels interior gone, and no one knows a thing, no cameras nothing... I don't know you tell me... There has been other horrible stories I have heard, not from rumors but directly from some employees that works/worked there... Oh here's another one.. This performance shops own cousin went in there like 10 15 years ago with a mustang 5.0 and wanted to do a clutch upgrade he provided the clutch and only wanted them to just install it... So 6 months later clutch burned out, pulled the tranny off and sure enough still the original clutch after he was told the job was done and he paid the labor for it... I am a personal friend of the owner of the mustang and he told me that ****, he straight up said that it's pretty pathetic that my own blood would rip him off... I'd that good enough reason...
