Vancouver CraigsList DREAMLAND: if YOU had to choose.....

I'm always looking (dreaming) for a low-mileage E46 M3 to eventually move up to. My 325-5spd is a nice driver, but I NEED MORE POWER. Tried out a 2004 330ci this spring at dealership......still not enough POWER for me, & it's Steptronic sucked.

If YOU were suddenly put into DREAMLAND, & GIVEN a FREE TICKET to fly in & drive home a low-miler used M3.................which would you choose...1, 2 or 3? :

Me- I have to have a stick. (But, that low-kilometer RED SMG sure is nice; looks babied) Grey interior lowest of my likes. Unique color is a bonus, like that Pheonix Yellow.. , but not essential.(It has the hardtop!) Thoughts?

After you guys choose, I'll tell you which one I'd get. (I have to save a bit longer to even entertain the idea moving UP, but doesn't hurt to dream.) Note: cars are in KILOMETERS, not MILES. Which would have been babied (not ran hard) the most? Etc. Etc What mods added to above do YOU look at, etc... Remember, this is just a QUICK dream thread that if you had 1HOUR to decide, then given a FREE PLANE ticket to Vancouver......which would you choose? No long deep analyses here.

PS. IF u are the owner of any of above in Vancouver, take it as a compliment that your car was chosen for this DREAMLAND thread.

I'd take a hard top vert with a manual transmission, but that yellow color is nasty. Red convertibles are a bit feminine. And the grey one with grey leather? Seriously, they are all kinda gross for M3s.

BMW - Suzuki - Jeep

I wouldn't let go of my car for any of those M3s.

None of them. I don't like verts or SMG transmissions.

As the posters above said, I would choose none. The added weight of the convertible takes away from the power you seek.
Manual + hardtop with black exterior and cinnamon interior would be my ideal choice.

..and you test drove a 330 auto to compare with your 325 5-speed?
They are virtually identical to 60 given that comparison.

I'll have to go with the majority here. The yellow one is horrible looking, I don't like convertibles, and would only go with a manual, so I'd choose to keep looking and not pick any.

Somehow, I think the E46 3ers look betther than M3's. Is that just me?

But the newer M3's (2008+) look much better than the 3ers.
