2005 M3 Convertible in Virginia for sale -- what is car worth?

I have a 2005 M3 BMW convertible that I want to list for sale. It's in excellent condition with roughly 74,000 miles. Routine maintenance and oil changes were all completed on time per factory recommendations. I'm trying to figure out what a reasonable price is to sell it for. A dealer offered me slightly over $18,000, but admitted resale was at least $24,000. I'm looking for an honest and unbiased opinion as to the potential sale price.

You could probably get what the dealer says he'll well it for. But it may take a while. If you really want it to move ask around 20 even.

Depends...these cars are truly always up in the air some sell for 15 with 80,000 miles and no options some are loaded and sell for as low as 13 what options do you have is it smg? Nav interior color exterior color defects? Pictures but generally speaking resale wise your car would probably sell in the 19,000-20,000 mark if you are looking to sell reasonably no one is going to spend 24k on that old of a car now or days with some really great market finds already out there around the 17-19 price

It's an 05 dude. 05/06s still fetch premium prices as far as E46s go.

SMG or 6spd? Interior color? (Imola and cinnamon usually command a premium). Exterior color? Need more info/pics. An SMG at 74k could be scary for a lot of people.

Anyone scared of a SMG at 74k needs to get out more, and perhaps drive a Toyota.
