Morimoto Retro Quik kit for cars with OEM HID (E46)

I purchased the retro quik kit from theretrofitsource thinking it would be a plug and play option for my car, but it wasn't and I am not one for playing around with ballasts and lightning equipment, and I don't want to pay a restocking fee so my mistake is your gain.

the kit comes with:

Bi-xenon Projectors
2 x Bi-xenon: Morimoto EvoX-R
Mounting Hardware
2 x BMW E46 Hardware
Shroud Epoxy (recommended)
1 x JBWeld Quik Weld
New D2S Bulbs
2 x D2S: XB 6500K

I have not opened the box, everything is brand new and taped up in its original packaging from theretrofitsource

kit costs $224 on the retrofitsource website
i paid a total of $239 after tax and choosing priority mail shipping

$200,free shipping for california, $10 shipping charge for anywhere else

here is the link for the kit :

Do u know if these will fit early e46 single xenon? I have personally face sedan and the output sucks. I don't think they are burnt, I think they are just from 2001 and the design was **** in the first place. I havr looked at this setup with interest but cannot determine if they only work in the AL housings or if they work for all e46

apologies, I am not entirely sure, some research indicates that they will work but you will lose the xenon hi beams. these have no ballasts, so i am assuming that you can just replace the lens and bulbs and it will work just fine with your existing setup

yes, apologies, I just noticed your last comment on the post. frankly I am not quite sure. I believe it is to replace (improve) stock projectors, but with a wiring harness and ballast it can be retrofitted for dual projector.
