This^ But great imagination and uniqueness on your part. Big for taking a different route.

while i respect the work put into it, and the color... i have always made it a rule of thumb that different queues from different generations will never ever look good. maybe we are all used to the way an e46 bumper looks, but still, it is definitely out of place. nice work however, and that paint color is just breathtaking

Ehhh... I REALLY love the paint, but I honestly don't like the 1M bumper. I mean of course to each it's own, it isn't my car nor is it anyone else's car but Walters. If HE likes it, then so be it; it's his car at the end of the day and he will do what he wants with it. I personally think the car looked AMAZING when I saw it "stock" up in Wayne at the Tuesday night meets. (I only remember because Stav and I complimented him on the car when we were inside Fridays) If he kept the car the way it was and had this new color, the car would've been PERFECT. Again, to each it's own so as long as he likes it, nobody else's opinion matters really lol.

yea it's as busted as your front bumper and paint.

i know u're trying to be funny, but put it on a public forum and people will give their opinions. majority are saying it's ugly. it is what it is.

I'm just making light of the comments, I honestly don't care what others think. I'm not here for a popularity contest.

I'm also aware it's a public forum, Iv'e been here close to 11 years with multiple cars. This is what moddings about, trying something new, instead of following the norm. Sometimes it works for some, sometimes it don't. I have no problem with criticism, it's the ignorant comments that are unnecessary.

Carry on...

Well I can say after seeing it in person its not as scary as the pics make it look. Yes, the bumper is very extreme, but it is a lot more flattering in person. You went a different route with this as you did with your original M3 back in the early 2000's so props for that. The color on the other hand is unreal! It looks so cool driving around and the way it changes hues in different lighting is insane!

i do like it head on.. first impressions were amazing .. but when you look at the side view its when it throws me off a bit. the stock M3 bumpers bulge out at the top and then fade back into the body.. this bumper bulges out and continues to go out as you go down.. im sure if you did something with the skirts and rear it would look good.. but right now it just seems like it has a big underbite..

notice the front compared to the rear.

The color is awesome. GREAT CHOICE. When you get a chance just post a normal camera phone pic, it looks great even like that. The pics you posted have some weird highlighting of the background so its tough to see the actual color. I wanted to paint my 996TT that color and I had every intention of doing it but at the last minute as they were ready to order paint I switched to Atlantis Blue. I'm sure you are enjoying the hell out of the car.

So you guys can see... this is somewhat like the color looks like in the sunlight (way better in person). Without the sun it looks a bit more charcoal but still awesome.

The bumper looks great, just not on the car. I can appreciate all the work that went into the custom fitment, but it just doesnt match the E46 M3 lines as good as it does for the E90. To each his own...the color looks stunning...but these pics dont do it justice
