So then don't get that one? I do want one that's close to being OEM. I'd prefer an OEM one, but I could go for a replica if it's good and cheap enough

So how different exactly does the Amebawings one look from OEM?

it's pretty close. material is very pliable like molding trim from Home Depot.
actually I wouldn't be surprised if it really was. edges are rounded by a sander and not a mold. there is no channel underneath for the double sided tape to hide in, so it raises the trim above the trunk and not flush.

but like I said if not picky it's fine. if picky get a used M3 one.

might as well buy one on ebay, looks better then carbon fiber, and its cheaper! ps, cheaper and painted!

here is a post of mine back in 2007 about the difference. an oem one has more of a wing overhang to it also. which is hard to see in my photos from the shadow. the ebay ones are more a "right" angle. like i said, i've been told it's just trim they buy in long lengths and cut and round off corners. it's not a part from a single mold or hard polyurethane.
