Price Check: 2004 E46 with 4500 miles on it...

Didn't know what section to put this under, but I'm contemplating selling my garage queen. It has never even seen rain.

Coupe. SMG. Black with Imola Red leather. Navigation(no BMW assist shark fin). Single owner. Bought new.

What's a fair price if I were to sell this? Thanks.

Call EAG in Ohio - they'll give you $35k for it and sell it for $50k.

Yes, 4500 miles. It's practically new. Regular oil changes despite the low mileage and professionally waxed multiple times.

Never really got an idea of what I could sell it for...anyone want to offer some advice? Thanks.

^kbb is a joke. they don't write checks. gimme a break. he needs to look into manheim or simply list it as a private sale OBO

unfortunately it wont sell for more than 3X,k.... I hate the way the market has gone on these cars. And if anyone buys it at a high price, then they put 30k miles on it, it is worth half of what they paid. I hate these older very low mile cars because of this reason

I agree. I am looking at a 2003 330 convertible with 14000 miles. Like new. He's asking $20 000 OBO. I don't think I'd pay more then 14-15000 for it, even that's a little high. The only models I see high asking prices on, not sure if they sell are the ZHPs (verts). That's what I am looking for, but everyone is asking over $20000!! I am hoping to find one under 60 000 miles for mid to upper $10000s.

If you are not in a rush, ask top dollar, around $20 000, you never know.

good luck

Here are some pics. Was hoping to get some good money considering there are some die-hards that dislike the new style.

That's an M3....you didn't mention that...disregard my last post on its value....I have no idea...but I would say $30 000 is a starting point, maybe a little more.

That's a clean M3. You should post up on yuppieracing.net. Local car enthusiast forum in Boston.

As far as for price, I would try listing it on eBay. I'd guess about $33k or so.

Edmunds' TMV = $20,472
Clearbook private party = $18,257
These figures were calculated with a fully loaded car.

You can tack on $5k for its "rare" nature, but realistically I don't see it going for more than $25k. I'd imagine there are a few buyers out there looking for cars like this to add to their collection and would pay a premium, but other than that, you can't really get much out of it. You might as well just keep it and enjoy it.

There was an ultra low mileage 2003 AW M3 that sold on ebay not too long ago for a bit over 30k, I believe. Maybe you can get something similar.

Do they actually go for that much? Those are asking prices, which IMO is way too high compared to any appraisal (Edmunds, Clearbook, KBB, Nada, etc).

I would say 33k maybe even 35k, Guys its an 04-06 model and it has 4500 Miles on one of the most desirable color combinations do you remember how much a brand new m3, and the fact that its still in that prestine condition makes it more desirable. Good Find for someone id say 35k if you want to sit on it, but thats just my opinion. 33k would be a quick sale.
