Your thoughts on the ACS Style Trunk Spoiler for E46 Verts?

Hey guys, has anyone made this purchase through JL Motoring?

How was fitment? Quality? Do you have installed pics? All your input is appreciated in advance.

I bought one from I think mod bargains. It wasn't listed but as I was explaining what I wanted it looks exactly like the pic. I'll try and post a pic tomorrow, it was about $200 or so

the picture i shared isnt the best of angles plus the cf is completely exposed. i saw a fellow m3 vert owner rocking an original acs spoiler fully painted in JB and it actually looked remarkably well. i dont like cf exposed. most exposed cf i do is if it smoked in a very dark tone. this will only be temporary till i get to convince the people are vorsteiner to make another run for the vcsl trunk production.

I like it. I dont like carbon fiber and I would paint it if I bought it but the lines look good. A bit expensive though.

I like it, I'd get it but I've got something else going. Let us know what you think if you do get it.

I just can't see it on your car man. I don't think you should get it. Even painted. I say just keep keep looking for a used CSL Vert trunk. They pop up sometimes.

What I heard was that I all ZHPs (I think) originally came with rear lip spoilers, but the factory ran out, so BMW offered them as an addition after the fact, but not a lot of people went back and asked for them. I bought an OEM one and am getting it wrapped in c/f, to go with my c/f diffuser and emblems... just a few touches of c/f. (Including c/f BMW strut brace and intake).

That says it's for sedan but it clearly fits your vert well.

I have the VCSL trunk and love it. I always hated how our verts looked so flat like a sled from a profile shot with the top down. The trunk definitely fixed that for me.

One of my friends here has one on his vert too and it's still fully CF, he never painted over it, and he's looking to sell it because he's selling his car. He does need a white OEM trunk as part of the deal though.

i had one on my vert back in the day. mine actually fit my trunk fairly well, the piece actually came from europe and was carbon fiber. i guess it depends where/who you buy it from.
