Any CA legal performance chips?

I'm looking to get an intake and tune soon but I haven't been able to find any chips that meet California's emission standards...

By changing the fuel enrichment, transition fueling, camshaft timing, ignition timing, VANOS control, etc
This makes certain chips not meet the CARB standards in California
Like the Shark injector (originally what I wanted to get), doesn't meet CARB standards...

Is every car put on the rollers now in CA or something? I haven't lived there in a few years. They used to check by plugging into the OBD2 port and that's all. Plugging into the OBD2 port will not reveal you have a tune. The only way you'll fail with the OBD2 port check is if you have an error code or your readiness monitors aren't good to go.

As I understand it, yeah. But I'm not an ASE certified mechanic so I couldn't say for sure.
See I thought the same thing but if you go onto the FAQ on turner motorsports for the shark injector, it says "These products are not CARB-certified or legal for sale or use in the state of California on any
pollution-controlled motor vehicles."

They do put it on rollers and rev the engine to certain rpms and idle.

Well of course. That's just a disclaimer so they can say that you knew what you were getting into. My other tuning stuff says for Off-Road Use Only.

But is it hooked up to a sniffer when they do this or are they just trying to verify that what's coming through the OBD2 port is accurate?

OP - you're most likely looking at Dinan as their software is 50 state legal.
