best muffler for a 328i with headers (no cats)

Hey, I've been searching and searching on YouTube for some sound clips but all I can find are 323s or 325s with headers soundclips but either I find them with no resonators, or just headers + straight pipes.

I don't want a loud crappy sounding exhaust. I'd like to find a deep one that sounds good with resonators. I do drive on the highway so a major drone would get annoying. I've had b16 civics with just straight pipes from the header back and not looking to be that LOUD haha. I'm going to be putting these headers on in the next week or so, and I hear with the stock exhaust it can sound OK, but I guess I'm just asking for some tips on what would sound good with headers+ both resonators+ (insert muffler here).

thanks

No muffler is the best sound your going to get. Every aftermarket muffler I've heard sounds like rice. Delete your muffler, leave resonators, and add headers if you insist on having them and you will have a pure win!

How do you pass emissions with no cats?

Ok let me rephrase that. Removing the stock cat you will gain 1 hp. Putting a better than stock cat on will increase 5-10 hp. Magnaflow cat for example will increase more hp than just removing the cat

You have to remove the stock cats when installing headers. I would like to see some proof behind your claims. Not trying to sound like a dick, but 5-10hp from a cat... sounds unbelievable.

I personally still have stock cats. I don't know this from actual xp but the dyno charts I've seen show gains with magnaflow cats

So wrong... Just an aftermarket muffler on a 328 will not make it sound like rice. I have the rogue dms on my 330 and it sounds perfect. Farthest thing from rice. Sounds aggresive, not super loud. I'd say go with the dms, plus its one of the cheapest ones out there, but the quality is top notch
