Just Bought: 2002 330i

Just took it off the lot.
I'm new here. And new to Bimmers.
It's a Steptronic sport premium I believe.
137,000 miles.
Carfax had the water pump listed as changed at 106,000.
When I test drove it, the coolant light came on. Filled it with some conventional green and it went right off.
Need to know EVERYTHING to keep this thing as pristine as it is right now. Any suggestions will be done. I'm an obsessive mechanical engineer and that translates into my vehicles.
Drivers side headlight was replaced and is different temperature than factory HID. How can I inexpensively remedy this?

Yeah mine did. Lol. Question. I have auto leveling bi xenon HIDs. Was that even a factory option? When I pull the blinker switch back my halogen brights flash. But when I push it forward to lock position, my bi xenon bright kicks up while my halogen stays off. They are mismatched HID temperatures and the passenger lens is cloudy, so I would like to remedy that while also adding angel eyes. Suggestions?

That seems about right for the headlights. Best to get some brand new lenses than trying to restore the oldones. While you're shopping there pick up the ae's too.

Thank you for the information. I just finished reading that. Very informative. I think I'll get the tails as well. I need to know about bulb replacement as well. I would like to do the Angel eyes, the lenses and bulbs at the same time. Could the newer housing have a different projector lens color itself as well, or just seem that way because if the different bulb temps.

You should see my 4runner I just sold for the BMW. Based on my activity on t4r alone. I could craw you an expanded diagram of the entire thing down to the amperage. I'm a quick study and plan to do the same with this car. I'm a sponge. So feel free to tell me anything you like.
I just moved to Dallas. Anybody know a good place to get it looked at?
