When you replace FSR whats that thing next to it?

Hey guys, just wondering, when you replace your final stage resistor, theres another little module right next to it, which you have to take out to get to the FSR.

Its hooked up to what seems like a metal wire that twists that mechanism, i found it on both sides of the car. Whats its purpose? and errrm whats the part numbers for both sides? hahaha

Don't know about part numbers or if they are replaceable - you might need to salvage the bits from a wrecker.

I believe you're referring to the stepper motors or the motor housing. They control the flaps for the ventilation and given the spot, most likely for the floor vents.

How did you go with your FSR replacement?

By the sounds of it, not that great! I think you have it right though, the motors that control the flaps.

All good, wasnt that bad to change, air con is working fine now!
I pulled to hard on those little things and they broke off, the little white clips that hold that wire in place snapped off.
