First update of 2013

As I mentioned, my old side indicators had turned a bit matte/yellowish over the years. Here's a pic to show you what I mean:

...So I bought a pair of new OEM ones!

Quite the difference really. Excuse the dust.

And since my MOT (or whatever it's called) is coming up in March, I decided to order a pair of new rear brake pads, as my old ones were wearing out. Went with Textar, OEM brake pads, although without the BMW branding and stealership prices.

And last up, a rear brake pad wear indicator.

That's it for now!

Next up will be the DSC speed sensor and sunroof repair kit. A set of new wheels would be nice too, however I do love the M135's and besides, I have somewhat an itch for either a two-wheel toy, or another 4-wheel toy as of now instead. We'll see what happens! #priorities.

Thank you Vassilisvot!

The car is now out of winter-mode! I couldn't wait any longer... I had completely forgotten how much fun this car is!

Here are a few pictures I took during the weekend:

Wow, I haven't updated this thread in ages. That's what happens when you're in Uni I guess.

My 330ci is still with me! I brought it out of hibernation beginning of April. Recently had it's MOT done and passed without any faults. As of right now, it's done around 51k miles. Still drives and handles great. I do need to fix the cloth-panel covering the inside of the sunroof, as it's now stuck. I'll need to remove the entire glass roof so It'll be a project for a sunny summer day. I'm always looking at other cars, e.g. Boxster S/Z4, but haven't really been able to get rid of my baby. It's in great shape for an 11 year old car and I know I will struggle to find a new E46 in the same condition if I ever decide to sell. We'll see what happens!

Here's a photo for you guys!

WHAT'S BEEN DONE SUMMER OF 2012:

* New tires (Falken FK452) all around.
* Detail
* New Front Control Arm Bushings (FCABs) - Post #19
* Wheel alignment all around
* Leather reconditioning (using OEM BMW cleaner)
* OEM BMW Auxiliary input installed in euro tray - My first DIY (pictures to come, soon)

WHAT'S BEEN DONE SUMMER OF 2013:

* New OEM turn-signal side-markers
* Entire new DSC/ABS-system (ABS-sensors weren't enough unfortunately)
* New rear brake-pads and sensors
* Detailing, reconditioning and leather reconditioning.

PLANS FOR 2014:

* Sunroof-cloth repair
* Oil-change and possibly new air-filter
