topping off power steering question
All
ive got a '99 328i. power steering requires atf. mine had a leak due to the clamps being too loose. i need to top it off but i'm not sure what's compatible. looks like the last power steering service used just says dexron. is all dexron synthetic? any suggestions what to use? Thanks in advance for your help |

dextron 3 is probably what you have. i recommend you flush the whole system and put new. some guys say dextron 4 is ok and backwards compatible

Dex III in the '99 same as me. I use valvoline dex/merc (says it's for where dex III is needed).
