Secret bmw Menu

hey i just seen on a person on ebay selling some kind of instructions for a hidden manu in the bmw it unlocks for exp: cooland level temp,how much gas you got in the tank,speed your travling digital and much more . Did anybody hear from this manu and does anybody have it ?

Haha, it's just computers built into your dash. I should start selling those instructions. There is a thread around hear somewhere, I think it is called "E46 easter eggs" or something. it's just a matter of pressing down the left dash knob until it says test, than you have a list of 21 functions. You can check battery voltage, engine temperatures, test all the gauges on the dash etc...

Here I'll save you some money.
  • Hold the left stalk on your cluster down until it says test.
  • Press stalk until you reach number 19.
  • Wait till it say OFF then press the stalk in for about a second.
  • Imediately press the stalk to the desired fuction, exp. 7 for water temp.
If you want to back out of the function your in, hold the stalk again which will bring you back to the 1 -21 functions.

Find the easter egg thread for a list of what each function number indicates.
