What are these?!?

I just saw these lowering perches and have no idea if they are a great idea or a bad idea. It seems they go on top of the springs replacing the oem top perch under the front mount.

Do these work??

These pieces have been discontinued.

Were they discontinued by Bimmian or by Mechunik (manufacturer in Germany?)? They are still on the Bimmian web site so I will double check with them.

They are also listed for sale by Supreme Power - they appear to be the same but not described as Mechunik.

Not sure why they discontinued them but ill guess that there was very little demand. I've already asked bimmian and they no longer carry them and supremepowerparts no longer carry that item. Try and add it to a cart and check out, they no longer have it.

Just got this response from Bimmian,

"To my knowledge, they will only work with the OEM struts. Also, we no longer carry the lowering perches. Mechunik has discontinued them due to lack of popularity. I'm sorry for the inconvenience. Please let me know if you have any other questions."

I just got an email from SV-Concepts saying these will work with Konis and they still sell them.
