Best home air fresheners?

Looking for something good that will last and make the house smell good. Not something that is good for a short period of time like cheap candles. Anyone have good recommendations?

Walmart or Autozone will have it.

Forget the Febreze - if you're looking to add an air of manliness to your surroundings, bust out a can of Archer Air Superiority ($14). It comes in three sufficiently masculine scents - distillery, which offers notes of charred oak, bourbon, and sour mash, hunting lodge, with scents of stone, gun powder, and timber, and european sports car, which smells of leather, aftershave, and horsepower. Expelled from its stylishly simple can using an eco-friendly nitrogen-based propellant, its the perfect antidote for your average fresh/floral room spray.

I would wager all aerosol air fresheners aren't good to inhale. Ozium actually cleans the air, rather than mix the smell with the odor. You're supposed to spray a room and not be in it until it clears.

ikea has some nice candles. very cheap but fragrant. Don't even have to light them.

Or hand dipped incense

solly, i bought an air freshener that you place on top of your air filter in your furnace/heat pump. made the house smell really nice for about 2 bucks.

open the window

i usually eat in my room, so there is no real value in getting an air freshener.

These work great. It has a timer you can set to spray every 9, 18, or 36 minutes. Air Wick Freshmatic.

I once sprayed down the inside of a car with ozium, including the steering wheel. About a day later skin was peeling off of my hands and all of my fingers. I'm never using that stuff again.

You can also dump baking soda all over your carpets, let it sit for a bit and then vacuum it up. That will absorb a lot of funk. Make sure you don't have any dirty clothes or towels laying around. Run your fleshlight through the dishwasher, too.

I just googled to see if anyone had ever had that happen. Your post was the only one.

From what I've read, it's slightly more potentially harmful than every other synthetic air freshener, but as I said, it shouldn't be sprayed while in the room. You spray, and leave the room for a little while.

Yea, I put dryer sheets in my dresser draws and closets. You could try and put a sheet under you're couches, entertainment center, etc. It might do the trick.
