Good Mechanics in Astoria

Hey everyone,

I'm looking to have some work done on my car soon, but not sure where to take it. Does anyone know any good shops in Queens, (preferably in Astoria?)
I appreciate the help.
Thanks in advance.

I don't think I'm willing to pay $250 for changing rear rotors, brake pads, and spark plugs. Especially if the shop is not supplying the parts. Am I the only one who thinks that's a little on the high side?

You wanted rotors, brake pads and spark plugs with labor for $250

Please do me a favor and go to a Shea stadium and get some random dude work on your BMW, you will end up with messed up car that the guy that had 330I.

Motorcepts is a quality shop, not a hot dog stand.

I didn't ask to get parts AND labor for $250. "LABOR ONLY" I'm sure MotorCepts is a great shop, But I wasn't sure how much I should expect to pay for something like that. I didn't say anything about them.
I was asking for opinions, not to be told to go to Shea Stadium. < Never have, and never will. so chill.

The way you put it is that you would never pay $250 for 'just labor' without parts for that job.

Anyways, $250 seems fine to me at their labor rate not cheap dude. I know it's a bit annoying to take whole cover and coils off for spark plugs, either way call and ask for Leo, they were running 10% off or something promotion if you follow them on FB/Twitter so just ask about that and see if they can bump the price down.

I go to Impressive Auto Center in Maspeth by the cemetery. Call John for an estimate, you can google the shop. I'm a very satisfied customer.

Yes, I know it doesn't take much to do yourself.
I watched your DIY videos, which were very clear and helpful.
I don't have the tools to do the work, so I decided to just pay to get the work done, assuming they wouldn't charge an arm+leg for it. I guess I Might as well make the investment and purchase the tools.

I'd rather not drop names here. I wouldn't want it to affect the shop's reputation in any way.
